Looking to get your home more organized? How about cleaner? Maybe even smell better? There’s something out there for that!
Do you ever purchase something new and think… “Where has this been all life?” Sometimes it can be something so simple, but it makes all the difference in your home. I’ve rounded up all of my favorites items that I’ve purchased over the last few years that have made an impact in The Holtz House.
Here are 11 life-changing products for your home…
Do you hate scrubbing the gunk inside the microwave as much as I do? Angry Mama is just what you need. Fill her up with vinegar and water, and throw her in the microwave for a few minutes. The steam pours out of her head, and suddenly it’s so much easier to clean off the food splatter.
Does your master closet connect directly to your master bathroom like mine? Even when I turn the fan in, it always seems so muggy and damp in our master closet after we get done taking a shower. I hate it! When I discovered DampRid, it was a total game changer for me. No more musty smell in the closet, and you can actually see the product working. The bag slowly fills with water, pulling it from the air. This product is the real deal. I even purchased the large bucket for our basement as well.
3. Sticky Buddy
I have so much love for my dog, but what I don’t love is how much she sheds. If you find yourself going through countless lint rollers, it might be time to invest in a Sticky Buddy. This handy little tool is a reusable lint roller. Just rinse, dry and reuse! I love using it for our couches for a quick once over before company comes over. Yes- of course our dog is allowed on the couch. She’s family!
Never did I ever think I would be so obsessed with a vacuum. #AdultingProblems When we moved to our new home, I knew one of the first things we wanted to invest in was a new vacuum. If you have hardwood floors, I would highly recommend this! It’s super lightweight and does a great job picking up all the dog hair on our floors.
If you’re looking to take organizing your home to the next level, you’ll want to purchase these for every closet in your home. These are great for straightening up towels, linens, sweaters or anything else you stack in your closet. No more closet chaos!
If you’re a wine lover like me, you’ll want to make note of this one. You’ll never be able to go back to a regular ol’ wine opener after using the Rabbit. Just 2 seconds, and you’ve got the bottle open. No time wasted!
Making sure our home always smells fresh and clean is big deal to me. We have Wallflower Fragrance Plugs in almost every room of our house. I love switching up the scents for the season, and there’s usually always a great deal for a price break when you’re buying multiples.
8. Pocket Hose
Nothing is more annoying than having to pull out a long, heavy hose to water your flowers and yard. I’ve always been a skeptic if the Pocket Hose would really make watering any easier, but I’m here to tell you… big time! So much easier to take out, lighter in weight and no kinks. This as-seen on TV is the real deal!
I had been eyeing a jewelry cleaner for a few months now. When I found this unit that would also clean eyeglasses, I was so in! My husband wears glasses, and they’re always filthy. Drives me nuts! This cleaner is so great, and the price point is pretty perfect too!
There’s nothing worse than a smelly kitchen sink. When I discovered Plink, I never realized it was so easy to keep it fresh! Drop one down the sink, add a little bit of water and run the garbage disposal and there you go. Stink gone!
11. Fabric Steamer
I’m not sure why I ever waited so long in my life to own a steamer. Seriously…. life changing. It’s so simple to steam out everything I own from clothing to curtains to bedding. It’s so perfect. I don’t think I’ve used an iron since I have owned this steamer.
This list covers the very best products I’ve purchased in the last year for our new home that I can no longer live without. Any others missing from above? I’d love to hear from you!
